State won't let cities regulate restaurant menus

Cleveland this year became the first Ohio city to adopt a law taking aim at unhealthy restaurant food. The city's trans-fat ban was to start in 2013. But the plan is dead before it began after Ohio lawmakers added a provision to the state budget that keeps local governments out of the nutrition-regulation business.
