Souris River Flood Feared Again, As Saskatchewan Rain In Fifth Day

THE CANADIAN PRESS -- ESTEVAN, Sask. - A fifth day of rain is bringing more water to already flooded communities in southeastern Saskatchewan and even bigger problems downstream on the swollen Souris River.The Saskatchewan Watershed Authority says it has no choice but to release more water from two dams in the region.Authority spokesman Dale Hjertaas (JER'-tiss) says the watershed is absolutely saturated from spring runoff and rain.Read More...
