Pending village approval, Pulte hopes to start work this summer. The property is a bit more than 72 acres, but homes will be built on 56 acres, with the remaining acreage left as open space or stormwater detention, according to plans. To the east of the proposed development are the Mistee Ridge and Hummingbird Hill subdivisions, and to the west is Good Shepherd Cemetery.
