Colorado Springs Volkswagen Dealers Say Scandal Hasn't Hurt Sales

Only a handful of Volkswagen customers in Colorado Springs have asked to return the diesel vehicles they bought that are equipped with software that rigged the cars to beat U.S. emissions tests while failing to meet the nation's emissions standards during actual driving, according to local dealers. Jerry Colten, managing partner of Al Serra Volkswagen near Chapel Hills Mall, and Bob Penkhus, owner of Bob Penkhus Volkswagen in the Motor City area, said Thursday few customers have called or sent emails asking to return vehicles powered by the 2.0-liter diesel engine at the center of the test-rigging scandal.
