Perry Village Council has approved a resolution to offer Mayor Vicky Stevens a settlement to resign from office.Council on June 28 voted 4-2 in favor of a settlement for "Mrs. Stevens to retire from her position with the village." That settlement would include a $10,000 lump-sum payment to Stevens in conjunction with her stepping down.

Since the Lake County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board launched its Compass Line in 2012, more than 8,000 referrals to behavioral health help resources have been made. The ADAMHS Board's Compass Line is designed to shorten the journey between seeking help and getting help.

Monica Drake, who has 24 years of public sector experience, has been hired as the first shared economic development manager for Willowick, Kirtland and Wickliffe. Drake begins the job in mid-July.
