State’s grad rate near all-time high

STOCKTON — State education leaders announced this week that high school graduation rates for 2018 remain near an all-time high with big gains made over the past several years.Among students who entered high school in 2014, 83 percent graduated with their class this year, up slightly from 82.7 percent a year ago, according to the California Department of Education.
