Morning Jolt: FDA wants acetaminophen limits

The Food and Drug Administration is asking doctors to no longer prescribe medications that contain more than 325 mg of acetaminophen, saying that amount could damage your liver. Acetaminophen has been known to cause liver damage at high amounts, and the FDA is taking steps to limit the amount patients can take. Over-the-counter drugs will be addressed at a later time, the FDA said.
