Touring the world isn't all glitz and glamour. After soprano Máiréad Carlin finishes her last note with Celtic Woman, she goes backstage, peels off her fake eyelashes, puts on her flannel pajamas and makes a cup of tea. Performing is her greatest love, but it comes with baggage. The gig means she's away from her mother, who lives in Derry in Northern Ireland, and her husband in Dublin.
