A Cedar Rapids man who reportedly called for help to a passing bicyclist early Sunday was arrested for assault causing injury after allegedly attacking the man who stopped to help.Casey Carpenter, 37, was walking shirtless near the intersection of Bever Avenue and 30th Street around 3 a.m. Sunday when he called for help to a bicyclist who had stopped at the intersection, police reported.
