Cook County, Illinois health officials report another coronavirus case

The Illinois Department of Public Health and Cook County Department of Public Health announced another Illinois patient has presumptively tested positive for coronavirus.

The patient’s test will be confirmed by the Center for Disease Control.

According to the IDPH, the patient is hospitalized in isolation and CDC protocols have been implemented.

The IDPH did not release any identifying information about the person in the case, including where the patient is from or where the patient
