Brooks Laich is known for his ability to play all three forward positions and line up anywhere the Capitals might need him to, but over the past two weeks of training camp and the preseason he did not spend much time at center. On Saturday morning at KCI, however, Laich was lined up as the center of the third line between Jason Chimera and Joel Ward.
