The Broncos limped out of the weekend and into preparation for their first road game of the season missing more than just linebacker DeMarcus Ware. Denver’s infirmary also includes offensive lineman Donald Stephenson and tight end Virgil Green, two players in positions of thin depth. Stephenson has a calf muscle strain and will miss at least one week, coach Gary Kubiak said, and as many as three, including Sunday’s game at Cincinnati against the Bengals. “We feel like we’re lucky,” Kubiak said. Stephenson was one of general manager John Elway’s most expensive offseason free-agent signings when he came to the Broncos on a three-year, $14 million deal, with $10 million guaranteed, in March.
