STAMFORD — A Bridgeport man was arrested while allegedly making a delivery of 30 bags of heroin to Stamford’s South End on Wednesday. Following a pattern that police have been noticing for a little over a month, the more than two dozen bags of heroin were unstamped. Capt. Richard Conklin said officers in the Narcotics and Organized Crime squad were told that a man in a green Volvo would be making a delivery of heroin to a Henry Street apartment building Wednesday morning. Police set up in the area and saw a green Volvo back up into a space next to an apartment building just east of Washington Boulevard. The man behind the wheel fit the description of the man police had been told would be making the delivery, Conklin said.
