WISE -- Winter weather maintained a fierce grip on Southwest Virginia with the continuance of bitter cold temperatures across Southwest Virginia, along with light snow accumulations overnight Wednesday into Thursday. It's been so cold lately the Wise County Sheriff's Office even issued a tongue-in-cheek BOLO for warm weather on Twitter Thursday morning. "BOLO (Be On the Lookout) for warm weather," tweeted the WCSO.
