By Michaela Gibson Morris Daily Journal TUPELO – Families can let their wild sides run free Saturday at Ballard Park. The Healthy Tupelo Task Force will host the Boerner Be Wild Health and Wellness Fair Saturday morning, featuring a 1-mile kids fun run, a kids obstacle course and a host of family activities. “It’s all about opening up different opportunities for families to be active,” said Liz Dawson, task force chairwoman and director for North Mississippi Medical Center Community Health. The festival is hosted in honor of the late Hank Boerner, who served as the director of the NMMC Wellness Center and co-chairman of the Healthy Tupelo Task Force. “His mission was fitness and he modeled that behavior.
