Bloomingdale Fatal Fire Vicims Identified

UPDATE: The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office has identified the two people killed in Saturday’s structure fire. Mary Vance, 67, and Charles Lester, 67, were both living in the home at the time of the fire. The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division is still working on determining the cause of the fire, but does not suspect foul play. BLOOMINGDALE — The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fire that killed two people Saturday morning. On 3/17 at 5:43 a.m., dispatch received a call from a man stating the mobile home at 1110 Kinzer Lane was on fire. When the Bloomingdale Fire Department arrived on scene, the mobile home was covered in flames. Two people and a dog were inside the home and were unable to get out in time. The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division is currently working on determining the cause of the fire. Due to pending notification of the family, no further information is available at this time.
