Aurora Borealis Could Perform Encore In Colorado On Wednesday Night

The aurora borealis could take another bow in Colorado Wednesday evening, according to forecasters. On Monday night, the strongest display of Northern Lights in more than a decade thrilled sky watchers and a repeat is possible, according to the Boulder-based Space Weather Prediction Center. "The coronal mass ejection that erupted June 22 in conjunction with the R2 solar flare has been modeled and arrival is expected" about 5 p.m.
