Colorado drivers may soon notice a new license plate design brightening up vehicles across the state. With a bright orange, red and yellow background resembling a serape, or traditional Latino woven blanket, the “Chicana/o Power!” plates joined the state’s sea of specialty license plate options on Jan. 1. Though the property is still in the concept phase, residents can expect amenities such as community areas, a fitness center and an elevated park on the seventh floor, according to Isiah Salazar, president at Central Street Capital, Inc., a private investment management company based in Denver that is working on the development. “We’re very excited about the potential of this project,” Salazar said.
