Armie Hammer joins untitled New Orleans thriller from Annapurna Variety reports that Armie Hammer is set to bring his talents to an upcoming thriller from Annapurna Pictures. The yet-to-be-named film is being directed and written by Babak Anvari (Under the Shadow) and Hammer will portray a New Orleans bartender “whose life begins to unravel after a series of disturbing and inexplicable events begin to happen when he picks up a phone left behind at his bar.” No other plot details or casting news has been announced, however with Annapurna fast-tracking the project, they are seemingly confident in what Anvari and Hammer will bring to it. Lucan Toh of Two & Two Pictures, Christopher Kopp of AZA Films and Annapurna Pictures are all set to produce.. Fresh off his success from the fantastically-wonderful and critically-successful drama Call Me By Your Name, Hammer has stayed busy this past year and continues his stream of success showing no signs of slowing down.
