Investor and entrepreneur Michael Galgon has joined the board of directors for Seattle music technology company RealNetworks. Galgon is best known for founding advertising company aQuantive, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2007 for $6 billion — an investment Microsoft was forced to write off earlier this year. RealNetworks is in the midst of trying to turn itself around after posting quarterly losses in the tens of millions.
