Bane is a plott hound that’s available for adoption from the Effingham County animal shelter. The dog that has not been neutered was brought in as a stray and is an estimated 4 years old. “He’s so, so sweet,” said Jessica Kicklighter, kennel assistant. “He’s very calm and loving.” Bane is a very happy dog and has a goofy way of running that makes people smile. Also up for adoption this week is a long-haired brown tabby named Nyla. She is an estimated 4 years old.
