Two women were sentenced for engaging in organized criminal activity that prosecutors have said is linked to a Mexican cartel. Tushuna Shardanae Espy, 24, and Jacqueline Zuniga, 37, pleaded guilty last week to the charge, which was connected to a separate investigation into a methamphetamine and cocaine trafficking ring with ties to the Gulf Cartel.
