2 Public Employees Arrested On Tax Evasion Charges

(AP) — An investigation by the Internal Revenue Service into the alleged failure by public employees to pay taxes has led to two arrests. Prosecutors say the 39-year-old Jenkins, an employee of the state Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, failed to pay much or any federal taxes between 2009 and 2012 at a $46,000 loss.
