1 Person Dead In Alameda House Fire

One person was killed in a fire that erupted at a home early Monday in Alameda, officials said. The fire started about 6 a.m. on the 2300 block of Eagle Avenue, according to the Alameda Fire Department. One adult was declared dead at the scene. The person was not immediately identified.
