The Story “I’ll keep you out of harm’s way,” says Michael Bryce (Ryan Reynolds), bodyguard-for-hire, who makes his living protecting corporate criminals and other high-level nasties. “I am,” says Darius Kincaid (Samuel L. Jackson), “harm’s way; my job is to harm.” He’s a world-class assassin-for-hire (250 so far), whom Bryce is protecting as they leave London for the International Criminal Court at The Hague where Kincaid is to testify against Vladislav Dukhovich (Gary Oldman), Belarusian dictator accused of murder and ethnic cleansing.
