A founder and former CEO of Wounded Warrior Project is calling for the resignation of board Chairman Anthony Odierno, saying Odierno must go so the Jacksonville-based non-profit can regain the trust of donors. John Melia, who started Wounded Warrior Project in 2003, said Odierno’s service on the board since 2009 makes him part of the problem and he should have “absolutely no role in choosing the new executive team,” including the replacement of recently ousted CEO Steven Nardizzi. read more
