A woman suffered life-threatening injuries in an apartment fire that is believed to have been intentionally set. The woman, who is believed to be in her 40s, is being treated at UF Health in Gainesville after the fire at 7777 Normandy Boulevard, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. Police said that because there is a history of domestic violence at the woman’s apartment, they are canvassing the area looking for witnesses to determine if domestic violence is related to the arson. read more
