Woman Drowns Crossing High Water In Lincoln County Creek

Staff reports A woman drowned in Lincoln County early Saturday morning after the car she was traveling in attempted to cross a creek and got stuck in high water, the West Virginia State Police said.Katherine Runyon, 48, was one of four people in a Mercury Cougar that tried to cross high water on Big Harts Creek Road, near Harts, at about 2 a.m.
