The Utah Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian incident in southwest Salt Lake City early Thursday morning. Public safety dispatchers confirmed that a 911 call reporting the incident came in from the area 1700 South and Bangerter Highway at 4:23 a.m. Emergency responders arrived to find a fatally injured 34-year-old woman at the scene.
