Winter storm warning, advisories in effect The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for New Haven County and a winter weather advisory for Fairfield County. Snow totals have also increased for Fairfield County. In Fairfield County, the NWS’s most likely accumulation totals are 6 to 8 inches in Bridgeport, 4 to 6 inches in Greenwich, Stamford and Norwalk. In Litchfield County, in towns like New Milford, there is also a winter advisory with snow totals expected in the 4-6 inch range. Unlike other storms, this will be an all-snow event with “wintry mix” of sleet, freezing rain, of just plain rain. The winter storm warning and winter weather advisory is in effect until 1 a.m.
