Why Tesla, Inc. Stock Moved Higher Tuesday

Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) stock is trading higher on Tuesday. Shares increased as much as 4.4%, and are up about 4.1% at the time of this writing. The stock's rise comes as Tesla announces an unprecedented safety rating for its Model X SUV, and an analyst hikes his price target for Tesla stock.Tuesday morning, Tesla said its Model X was the first SUV to be awarded a 5-star rating in every category and every subcategory from the U.S.
