White House Seeking $29 Billion More In Disaster Assistance

The Trump administration is expected to request about $29 billion in disaster assistance on Wednesday, according to three sources familiar with the matter.The administration is expected to ask Congress to deliver nearly $13 billion in funding for recovery from hurricanes that struck Puerto Rico and other parts of the United States, $16 billion in flood insurance relief, and more than $500 million for wildfires, the source said.
