The Kansas City Irish Fest is perhaps the area's best organized and most tirelessly promoted festival. Organizers promise 30 Celtic rock and traditional Irish bands on seven stages at the three-day event at Crown Center Square. An appearance by Kansas City's popular Celtic rock band the Elders on Sunday evening will probably be the biggest draw, but the festival offers an embarrassment of riches.
