The news this week in Colorado--as in most other states--undoubtedly centered around health care. We've seen one Congresswoman--Betsy Markey--stake her career on her vote for reform, and receive death threats for it. Markey and fellow Democratic Colorado Congressman John Salazar became targets of Sarah Palin's PAC money, while Colorado's lone Republican statewide elected official--Attorney General John Suthers--has joined a crew of GOP counterparts from other states in a seemingly futile quest to void the historic legislation Meanwhile, back in DC, Republican obstructionism in response to the health care vote is threatening the allocation of resources for Colorado's efforts to eradicate intrusive bark beetles that are destroying forests and causing forest fires. Mother nature, however, seems determined to delay the start of fire season as much as possible, throwing two serious snow storms our way in the third week of March Here are our picks for the biggest stories of the week:
