UPDATE: Robert Dear Jr.'s return to court has been postponed to 10:30 a.m. Thursday due to hazardous travel conditions. Dear had been due back in court Wednesday for a hearing likely to focus on his mental health. Dear, 57, told KKTV News last week in a collect phone call from the El Paso County jail that state mental health evaluators have determined he is incompetent to stand trial - a finding with the potential to delay the case against him. A gag order prohibits attorneys from confirming his claim. The competency report is expected to be distributed to the defense and prosecution at Wednesday's hearing.
