Weather Poses Latest Challenge To Gulf Oil Spill Response

A weather system off Haiti could grow into a tropical storm or even a hurricane, forecasters say. That could prompt crews to temporarily reopen the well and delay work on shutting it permanently. The threat of summer storms moving through the Gulf of Mexico this week has raised the possibility that BP's recently shuttered well may have to be reopened as a safety precaution if work crews are forced to head for safe harbor.
