Waterfront Clear-cut Prompts Brunswick Moratorium

BRUNSWICK — A recent clearcutting of hundreds of feet of trees on the shoreline along Miller Point has raised the concern of several Brunswick residents and resulted in the Town Council voting 7-1 to issue a 90-day moratorium on all future shoreline work. Miller Point, located east of Mere Point and west of Simpsons Point, recently had over 600 feet of shoreline clearcut as part of a shoreline restablization project by Robert and Nancy King.
