Waterford Man Killed In White Lake Township Motorcycle Crash

A Waterford man was pronounced dead after a motorcycle crash last week in White Lake Township. According to White Lake Township police, the incident occurred at 9:15 p.m. on June 18 in the area of Elizabeth Lake and Teggerdine Roads. A Waterford man, 59, was reportedly thrown from his motorcycle after rounding a curve in the road and hitting some rocks, the man's son, who was riding a motorcycle behind him, told police.

Malzahn resigns as UCF coach, heading to FSU as coordinator

UCF coach Gus Malzahn has resigned after four seasons with the school. ESPN’s Pete Thamel was the first to report the move, with Malzahn leaving to take the offensive coordinator job at Florida State. Malzahn previously worked with FSU coach Mike Norvell during their time at Tulsa under then-coach Todd Graham from 2007-08.
