The small canoe and kayak launch park on Elizabeth Lake Road near Airport Road in Waterford looks a little cleaner these days, thanks to efforts by a group of Waterford police dispatchers. The group of seven adopted the park in 2016 and has been working on cleaning up the park since last summer Last year, they rebuilt picnic tables and braced the pavilion over the river.
