The nifty animation test below offers a sneak peek at how Sony animators are resurrecting Popeye, who was last on the big screen in Robert Altman's admirably daffy live-action effort in 1980. Tartakovsky was inspired by the iconic black-and-white Fleischer shorts for Paramount in the 1930s.
