Washington Man Charged In Heroin Death

State Police have charged a Washington resident with manslaughter after a 35-year-old man died of a heroin overdose. Police then applied for a search and seizure warrant with the state Superior Court in Bantam for the man’s Brinsmaid Road home, where they later found assorted drug paraphernalia and several used bags of heroin, according to the report. State troopers and detectives from the Statewide Narcotics Task Force then began “an extensive, collaborative investigation” into the victim’s death, police said.
