Ironman announced Wednesday that it will be adding a new Texas event, Ironman 70.3 Waco. Registration will open on Tuesday, Dec. 5. This new race will replace Ironman 70.3 Austin on the 2018 calendar."We have a beautiful river, excellent roads and one of hte largest and best city parks in the nation," said Waco Mayor Kyle Deaver in a release.
