It’s election time in Chatham County again. Today’s the day when voters decide whether incumbent Roy Harris or challenger John Wilcher will wear the sheriff’s badge for the rest of the year. And it’s also when voters in Georgia House District 162 weigh in on whether Alicia Blakely, the Rev. Carl Gilliard or Josey Sheppard should represent them at the Capitol. But neither election decides who will actually serve a full term.
