Aurora police detained 14 people early Tuesday morning following a reported home invasion that involved a stabbing and kidnapping at the soon-to-close Edge of Lowry apartments, authorities said. A 42-year-old man died Monday after falling from Boulder’s Second Flatiron, sheriff’s officials said. The man, who has not been publicly identified, was reported missing around 9 p.m. Monday after he failed to return from a hike on the Flatirons, according to a news release from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office. A cold front moving into Colorado has brought with it a new wave of mountain snow, according to National Weather Service forecasters. The most snow is expected to fall in Colorado’s Park Range of the Rocky Mountains, according to NWS snow forecasts.
