Various owners/operators of a Kansas City McDonald’s volunteered their time and financial donations to help fill backpacks with school supplies for children Wednesday at the John Thornberry Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kansas City. McDonald’s Heart of America Co Op, a group of Midwestern McDonald’s owners donated 2,000 to the Boys and Girls club an additional 5,000 backpacks with water bottles to Kansas City Public Schools.
