Volunteer Day At Amarillo Botanical Gardens

Once again it’s that time of year in the life cycle of a garden; the plants have started to rebound. “It’s late summer, and everything is coming to maturity” said Greg Lusk, Amarillo Botanical Gardens’ director of gardens. “It’s the fall temps; it’s cooler, the heat is gone and there’s more water, more rain.
