I think Kefnet and Thassa are similar in the general strategy (early control to get "online" right away, then some potent voltron hits), but differed in two main ways, for me: 1) Kefnet wanted to be more traditional "draw-go" to keep the hand full at all times, with low CMC stuff that cantriped at the least and provided multiple CA at the most.

Voltron Equipment Essentials

Mono-Green Voltron Commander?
Thrun feels like the obvious choice and the best one. With both hexproof and regeneration, it is extremely difficult to kill. Additionally, its low casting cost allows you to hit hard and hit fast. Multani is a terrible choice for Voltron, as Shroud prevents you from targeting it with equipment or enchantments.

Top Generals for Voltron decks
Sharuum is more combo suited than voltron. I'd say Rafiq is the best voltron commander with Thraximundar and Jenara, Asura of War right behind him. The benefits that all three give are that they require very few cards to become lethal, the cards that help make them lethal are worth playing anyway and they have blue in their color identity.
