MIAMI GARDENS — Miami Dolphins veteran offensive tackle Kendall Lamm may have played his last snap with the team. Lamm, the Dolphins’ starting right tackle down the stretch this season, was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, ending his season ahead of Sunday’s regular-season finale against the New York Jets (4-12). The Dolphins (8-8) can still qualify for the postseason if they win Sunday and have the Denver Broncos lose to the Kansas City Chiefs. By TY O’NEIL, Associated Press LAS VEGAS (AP) — One person died and seven others were injured Wednesday when a Tesla Cybertruck that appeared to be carrying fireworks caught fire and exploded outside President-elect Donald Trump’s Las Vegas hotel, authorities said. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police and Clark County Fire Department officials told a news conference that a person died inside the futuristic-looking pickup truck and they were working to get the body out.

A New Year’s Eve fireworks explosion in a Honolulu-area neighborhood killed at least three people and critically injured 20 others, authorities said. The accident occurred just before midnight outside a home, the Honolulu Fire Department said in a statement. The neighborhood is near Honolulu’s international airport and a joint U. S.
