STAMFORD-During an emotional at the Stamford courthouse Monday morning James Cunningham was sentenced to 25 years in prison for murdering Marian Alexander in her Norwalk home last year. Dressed in a bright orange short sleeved jumpsuit, Cunningham, 44, did not say a word or change expression during the 20-minute hearing before judge Gary White. Even when Alexander’s family begged him to tell them why he killed the 52-year-old cosmetologist, Cunningham did not look their way or say a word before judicial marshals led him out of the courtroom for the last time.
