According to a new study from LendEDU, the Keystone State is the worst in the nation when it comes to how much money a college graduate must pay back on school-related expenses. The average student debt carried by a borrower in Pennsylvania is $36,193 for the Class of 2017. Furthermore, six of the nation’s 10 public colleges with the highest average student debt are in Pennsylvania.
